Relief Fund – Legal Services for Immigrants in Need
Our Mission
Provide low cost or free quality legal services to immigrants who need them most. Relief Fund is a Non-Profit 501 (C)(3) Organization that provides legal and support services to refugees and immigrants who have suffered human rights abuses, advocates for justice and promotes international human rights. Relief Fund represents immigrant victims of violence. Our clients include victims of human rights abuses seeking asylum in the United States, victims of human trafficking, victims of spousal or child abuse at the hands of a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident, immigrant children who flee from violence and travel to the U.S. alone, or immigrant children that have been abused, abandoned or neglected by their parents in the U.S.
Who We Are
Relief Fund is an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) that is dedicated to providing crucial legal assistance, as well as psycho-emotional evaluations relating to trauma to immigrant and refugee families on their quest for legalization and justice. We specialize in those that have been the victims of human rights abuses and violence.
We’re Immigrants Too
The rights and legal battles of immigrants hit incredibly close to home at Relief Fund—because we’re immigrants too. We understand the stress, the chaos, the uncertainty. We also know that there is a way forward, but that many immigrants cannot afford the legal services required to pave that way forward. This can lead to the destruction of family units, abuses left unchecked, and years of legal woes leading to deportations.

Oleg Prizant
Founder
A first generation immigrant from the former USSR, Oleg Prizant came to the US as a refugee himself. He understands first hand the deep struggles that come with displacement. A welcoming country is a god send for a refugee in danger, however immigrating poses its own unique challenges.
Recent spikes in intolerance and injustice towards immigrants is a major cause for concern. That’s why Oleg created the relief fund. Having received an MBA from Columbia University, with over 20 years as a Financial Services Executive—Oleg felt the need to give of himself to those with whom he feels a deep connection.
Abuse, trafficking, and other serious injustices are taking place in the communities of our most vulnerable. Oleg is compelled to do whatever he can to stem the tide, and help those who need it. The path to naturalization is where he felt he could help the most. He covers all operational expenses for the Relief Fund, and donate 100% of his salary to the cause.
