Relief Fund focuses on providing holistic legal services to entire families, leveraging strategies to regularize the legal status of each family member to ensure families are not divided by borders.
The Family Bond
In order for immigrant families to thrive in their new home, they need to rely on one another for support and encouragement. The unfair practice of removing particular members of a family from the country leaves the family bond tattered—and immigrant families at higher risk. Families with children, LGBTQ, and visible minority families are particularly vulnerable. Relief Fund is dedicated to the preservation of these family bonds by providing low cost or free legal services to those who need them most.
